Fearless Friends Tour makes some new friends in Mesa.

fearless friends

A full slew of quality bands from the Fearless Records roster rolled into town on Thursday November 18th in Mesa, Arizona at the World Famous Nile Theater. Opening the fully loaded bill to anxious crowd was The American Secrets. Playing a awesome blend on piano driven pop-rock the band who is FreeCreditScore.com's commercial band proved that they are way more than some band we sing the jingles from to have a good time.

Immediately following Texas's own Artist Vs Poet took the stage to screams from the whole crowd as frontman Tarcy Thomason kept the crowd moving playing hits off the bands latest Fearless release Favorite Fix everyone sung along without skipping the beat. The highlight of the bands set is when they ripped out a cover of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance from the new Punk Goes Pop cd from Fearless Records. The band closed out the set with crowd favorite Damn Rough Night.

Hitting the stage next was some amazing veterans of Pop-Rock Go Radio. While the band hasn't been around more than a couple of years frontman Jason Lancaster is the man behind all of Mayday Parade's good songs, and his new band Go Radio does not disappoint. Leading off with the bands latest single "Letters & Love Notes" which is hands down the catchiest song I heard all night. Not one person in the crowd could keep from bobbing around and singing along. Watching Jason with this new project and watching the amount of fun and energy Go Radio produces is just refreshing. Closing out their set with the ballad Goodnight Moon the crowd watched the band pour every ounce of heart and emotion they have into a song that pulls at your heart.

Detroit, Michigan's Every Avenue took the stage next and opened with the bands catchiest song they've ever released "Where Were You" Everyone once again was moving to a song thats impossible to not dance and sing to. Playing a good mix of the bands catalog from older hits like "Think Of You Later" to the bands newest singles off Picture Perfect. Every Avenue showed why they are here to stay, and here to entertain.

Denver, Colorado's own Breathe Carolina came out next playing amazing segues of dubstep and house trance between their songs. The band showed why they have earned the Direct Support title and the kids showed why they love Breathe Carolina. Dancing, singing, crowd surfing the sight is just amazing to watch. And Kyle and Dave were having just as much as the kids were singing hits like "Lovely" and "Hello Fascination" The band then took the party of their set to a whole new level when they threw in their cover of Jay Sean's Down. Kyle showed off his incredible vocal abilities by screaming the entire rapped verse by Lil' Wayne in the song. Closing out the set and dance party with the bands latest single I.D.G.A.F the kids partied themselves silly one last time before the nights headliners.

Mayday Parade took the stage next playing a set all fans would love to see, mixing songs off the bands Ep, and both full-length records the kids showed why the band is currently on top in the pop/rock music market singing along to every song and some kids even going as far to be in tears during the bands set. I personally can't say I was to impressed with the band but they definitely know how to not disappoint any of their fans. The highlight of the whole set was when former Mayday Parade vocalist Jason Lancaster came out to sing some verses in the bands single Miserable At Best, Giving the crowd a solid hour and 20 minute performance its safe to say everyone left happy. I highly recommend the tour for the openers as well as seeing The American Secrets set as its worth the whole ticket price alone.

Unfortunately PMF resident photography Nicholas Clermont wasn't able to attend the show due to some prior commitments.
