Mae says Goodnight & Goodbye to Mesa, Arizona.

On a lovely Tuesday evening, Virginia's own Mae entered Nile Theater for what would be the bands final performance in Arizona all ages venue. Prompted to be a solid hour and fifteen minute performance spanning the bands entire catalog the full crowd erupted into cheers when Dave and crew walked out on-stage. Opening with Evening Ep's Bloom the show started off as any Mae show should, Lots of energy and fun. The band played through crowd favorites such as "Summertime" "Suspension" "Sun" and many more off Everglow and Destination Beautiful. The band also played some of the amazing new songs from the Morning, Afternoon, and Evening Ep's including my personal favorite "I Just Needed You To Know". Out of my twelve times seeing Mae this has been one of the best. The band was full of energy and happiness My only complaint was the fact the band didn't play one single song off of Singularity. But the setlist for the band was still a great one. Along with all the bands smiles, every person in attendance was smiling, singing along, and enjoying what has been Mae. The whole show had an almost bitter sweet taste to it, as they played many rarities, it'd also be the last time for a very long time any fan would hear these songs live. With the stage drop illuminated by Stars and white christmas lights on all the mics and keyboard stands. The band finished out their set the crowd wanting more. A 4 song encore satisfied that need, the band walked offstage for the final time, Bidding a Goodnight & Goodbye to Mesa, Arizona and everyone in attendance.

Huge thanks for Nicholas Clermont for providing with all of our photos as always, and to you, the reader, for reading my terrible grammar and biased opinions.
