Look up Indie-Rock in a dictionary, what you should find is a picture of Chris, Matt, Bryan, and Eagle. Otherwise known as Frontier(s). There debut EP a two song beast released on No Sleep Records will go down in history as one of Indie-Rock's staple releases.
With former Elliot vocalist Chris Higdon's voice at the wheel, "The Plains EP" makes a lasting impression immediately with some of the most unique vocals you'll ever hear. Frontier(s), which could easily be the next great Arena Rock band of out time hits hard with opening single "The Plains", Chris Higdon's one of kind voice, matched with Eagle Barbers sharp drumming skills power the song through five minutes of solid indie-rock gold. With a slight hint of Foo Fighters mainstream kids will be flocking to get this band radio play, and they deserve every bit of it. Even at only two songs and ten minutes in length, Frontier(s) "The Plains" EP is sure to be one of the favorites among indie-rock and alternative-punk fans alike. So heres the breakdown,
Lyrics 9/10
Musicianship 10/10
Vocals 10/10
Artwork 6/10
Production 8/10
Lasting Value 9/10
Energy 7/10
I give the record a solid 9/10 for being something you'll want to listen to over and over and over again.
