Rochester, NY pop-punk band Such Gold has been a driving force in the D.I.Y. pop-punk/hardcore scene for the last year and half. Their last EP "Stand Tall" was one of the most received and best pop-punk records of last year hands down. The new EP, "Pedestals" is nothing short of amazing either.
Such Gold have filled the new EP "Pedestals" with some of the best pop-punk tracks of the year. Passion filled, and positive message the bands 6 song EP gets off to quick and amazing start with the lead off track "Cut Rides" a intro shortly over a minute that sets the perfect direction for the EP. Fast, Passionate, and catchy as fuck. You couldn't ask for a better record. Production is amazing, and the lyrics aren't washed up like every other pop-punk act out there today. This is hands down gonna be one of the albums of the year.
"Pedestals" is a record filled with singalongs that are gonna be stuck in your head. Much like Set Your Goals "Reset" EP this is gonna make this band huge. So lets do a breakdown.

Its hard to really pick out a stand out track because they all stand out. "So Close" is however one of the best songs on the whole album. So give it a the whole EP for listen.
