You, Me, And Everyone We Know - Some Things Don't Wash Out Album Review

YMAEWK Cover

Hey guys welcome to the new site. We're getting to start things off in a big way here with a review of one of the most anticipated records of the year. Some Things Don't Wash Out by You, Me, And Everyone We Know. Fronted by Ben Leibsch, the Baltimore based 6 piece write pop music that isn't shit. The bands been known to put out solid pop records that will have you smiling and singing along all day long. The latest release, dropping on Doghouse Records on October 12th is no exception.

The album kicks off with "Shock And Awe" that has a total circus feel to it, add in Ben's unique vocals, multiple instruments, and the use of the word fuck and you have the next PAT!D everyone. Only YMAEWK won't suck. My personal favorites on the album are "I'm Losing Weight For You" "James Brown Is Dead" "The Puzzle" and the new version of "Livin' Th' Dream". The albums first single "Some Things Don't Wash Out" is also hands down one of the best tracks and best pop songs of the year in my opinion.

Musically YMAEWK sound a lot like Panic At The Disco, Forgive Durden, and Say Anything on this album. Which isn't a bad thing at all. Every track has its stand outs and no two sound the same. This record is sure to be one of the top records of the year hands down. I highly suggest picking it up and seeing the guys on their current headlining tour.

8/10 for You Me And Everyone We Know's "Some Things You Can't Wash Out"
